Eats: Full House Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown

When the restaurant names, the atmosphere, and the items on the menu are all as similar how do you determine which restaurant you would like to eat at? In Chinatown this is always the case for me. I don’t read Mandarin or Chinese, nor can I speak or understand it.  So what I do is head to a local watering hole to grab a drink and ask the bartender what his or her favorite place to eat in the area is. In a Bartenders world you must know 2 things very well. Drink and food!

Full House Seafood restaurant is where we ended up dining at a table for 8 complete with a lazy Susan.  We ordered a pre-fixed meal for two and were in heaven with enough food for at least 4.

Pre-Fixed Menu $11.95 per person

  • a bowl of wonton soup (a bowl with at least 4 servings of soup)
  • 2 egg rolls, BBQ Pork, Fried Shrimp
  • Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce (we ate this so fast I didn’t get a picture!)
  • Orange Beef
  • Pork Fried rice

Always ask someone random for a suggestion on where to eat when in an unknown area, usually you will be happily surprised with their guidance!
