Food Trucks Spur New Business Niche

Selling product out of a mobile unit has its benefits — new audience, niche market, and a bizarre factor.   The food truck has been a successful and profitable business model in cities across America.  So if it works for food why not for clothing?  A boutique on wheels?  No, I am not crazy.  Nor am I referring to the “boutique-vans” at your local flea market, but a fully functioning vintage clothing business on wheels.  How perfect would it be to operate a golden treasure vintage boutique in a 65′ Double Decker bus?  Erin Sutherland of Portland, Oregon — in my opinion has hit the jackpot!

Lodekka Double Decker Dress Shop, has been open just over three weeks, but is already paving a road of inspiration for entrepreneurs across the country.  The boutique and it’s owner have already been featured on Coolhunting.com and craftzine.com.  For more details visit the CoolHunting.com article, Lodekka.
